Lenny Lee: A New Donor’s Journey Back to GHC

Lenny Lee, a 1999 graduate of GHC, recently became a new donor to the Foundation, despite no longer residing in Grays Harbor. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Evolutionary Biology from the University of Washington, Lenny has had a successful career with Pfizer where he is currently a Key Account Manager.

His first donation to the Foundation’s Journey Campaign was accompanied by sentiments expressing GHC’s special place in his heart, highlighting the enduring connection alumni often maintain with Grays Harbor College. He also emphasized the high-quality education that can be found at home, in Aberdeen, provided by the competent and caring professors that propel students to 4-year universities and beyond.

Lenny’s periodic visits to the area and the college campus emphasize the lasting impact GHC had on his life. His act of giving back underscores the importance of alumni contributions. Alumni giving plays a crucial role in supporting future GHC students.

In essence, Lenny Lee’s story exemplifies the profound connection alumni have with their college and the meaningful difference they can make through their contributions. His return as a donor inspires others to recognize the transformative power of education and consider the impact they can have on the institutions that shaped their life journeys.
